Why does Typophile have a store?
Typophile is a member supported community. Your financial contribution provides necessary financial support to keep Typophile thriving. This allows a more streamlined overhead, without subscriptions or membership dues.
What is your shipping policy?
We ship everything First Class by United States Parcel Service (USPS). This allows us to ship internationally since fully half of our users are outside the US. The shipping cost is clearly listed in your shopping cart and will vary based on your country. As mentioned below, we will ship all orders on August 15th 2008.
Why is the store only open until August 15th?
Managing a store - inventory and shipping - takes work. And we're inherently lazy, er, we're very busy and our people volunteer their time. So, we open the store about every 6 months for a short window - in this case, from July 15 to August 15. We will ship all orders on August 15th 2008.
What about plain donations?
Of course you don't have to buy merch to contribute to Typophile. You may make donations at various contribution levels through the store.
How can I show off pics of myself with my Typophile merch?
You can upload a pic of yourself on Typophile.com in this thread.
What forms of payment do you accept?

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or regular account payments all through PayPal.

How secure is this store?

This store uses PayPal for payments, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

Do I need a PayPal account to purchase from this store?

No, you are not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from this store. Although if you already have a PayPal account you may use it.
